NQE Updates for 25.3.0

Release Date: March 18, 2025

We’re happy to announce the latest enhancements to NQE as part of release 25.3.0. This release introduces support for OSPF within protocol data, expands platform and cloud interface modeling, and includes command refinements and deprecations in preparation for future changes.

What’s New

• The ospf field (of type Ospf) is now part of the NetworkInstanceProtocol model.

Improvements

• The osSupport field of Platform can now include the OS value CLOUD_GENIX.

• Added a new description field to the CloudIface model.

Command Changes

• The Command with type BRIDGE_INTERFACES was updated for devices running the CHECKPOINT operating system.

  • In some cases, the command show bridging groups was replaced with brctl showstp {} in the Outputs of a Device.

Deprecations

Some fields and functions are now deprecated and will be removed in a future major release.
